Non profit organisation Dakant distributes food every Sunday evening in the center of Antwerp, for 6 months a year. Eacht winter we go there as well to distribute warm jackets and coats.
'Man bijt Hond' visits Pelsland on a busy Saturday afternoon in high season.
For a few years in a row now, we have donated a couple of hundred winter coats to The Salvation Army.
Each winter we also donate a few hundred jackets and coats to Kringloop in Hasselt.
They sell these items in their thrift shop in less than 2 weeks and use the revenue to finance social employment of people who cannot find a job in the regular workforce.
