The collaborators of the homeless support center 'De Steenhouwer' picked them up last Friday and distributed the coats within the hour. Happily we are able to help these people in need. It's an incredibly painful idea that people have to confront the extreme cold without a warm overcoat. This Siberian cold really hurts these days. At night even more than during the daytime.
Each time we enter our homes, and we feel the warm glow enveloping us we should feel grateful. The same goes each time we need to leave our home and have the possibility to put on our warm winter coat. We all too easily forget (at least I do) how good our life basically is.
