A few of our customers come in with a coat which they find too heavy to wear comfortably. This can happen with pelts of over 20 years of age.  Tanning methods have drastically improved since, eliminating this problem all together. However older furs can be reworked by us, to form a beautiful plaid. We can not eliminate the extra weight which the pelts have amassed, but in this way, we can preserve the soft and luxurious feel of the pelts for you to enjoy in your home. A fur plaid is the perfect complement to your bedroom or sofa. Perfect for a rainy sunday afternoon.

    Beste M. Smit,
    Bedankt voor uw reactie. In voorraad hebben we geen plaid in bont. We kunnen die in de courante bontsoorten wel maken, naar wens. Welke pelssoort heeft u in gedachten en in welk formaat?

    Beste,
    De prijs om van een lange pelsen jas een plaid te maken schommelt tussen 800 € en 1.500 €. Dit is afhankelijk van het formaat dat u er uit wil halen, en wij er uit kunnen halen. Ook hangt het af van de stof die we op de achterkant gebruiken. Standaard gebruiken we daar een stof voor die aanvoelt als een fleece. Maar het is ook al gebeurd dat mensen een duurdere stof wilden op de achterkant.

    ik heb een coyote bontmantel geërfd en zou er een plaid willen laten van maken. Het is een lang model tot net onder de knie en tamelijk wijd vallend. Wat zou dat ongeveer kosten ?
